Delhi 6

Jiyo A R Rahman Jiyo, Yuraaj got its money because of you and I have no doubts that its gonna be the same with Delhi 6. Awesome background music which is actually a respite to these movies. Anyways, coming to Delhi 6, casting is very much apt and my favorite character was of Rishi Kapoor's.

I felt like Delhi 6 was Swades part 2, delhi wala thing is little boring here. Boring climax, there's nothing really exciting in this movie. Now, I don't wanna see anymore communal riots thing or untouchable thing in  movies, yaar cmon India has come long way now. Yeah, there are still such things happening but the intensity is pretty low compared to the early 80's and late 90's, got tired of the bhashans.

I'm desperately waiting for munnabhai kinda flicks. Well, don't worry delhi 6 isn't that bad, we can watch once for sure.

Rab ne nahi bana di yeh jodi?

Rab ne nahi tho aur kaun banaya ye jodiko? Rajiv boltha hai ki usne banaya woh jodi... I came across this blog with a story that has similar situations of that of RNBJ. Now, can that be sheer coincidence? or maybe the story writer of RNBJ got the story thru telepathy, where this writer's mind and Rajiv's mind got into resonance and then RNBJ story got filmed and Rajiv's one got a place in blogorama. Or maybe, Rajiv's story was manipulated from the original which he submitted to Mirchi Movies Ltd for the story hunt contest 'Pen Uthao Bollywood Hilao'. There can be many speculations, but then even if its true that RNBJ story was lifted from Rajiv's story, what will happen next? will Rajiv be given the credit for the story? or any compensation will be given? will someone help him sue Yash Raj films?

I don't support anyone but this was an interesting claim from a guy who says that the story was lifted from his work, so thought this can be some hot topic to see where it goes, not much distance though.

Anyways, RNBJ has no extraordinary story barring the surinder's character. And, no one knows who is the original creator of the story. Why don't you guys check out for yourself the story written by Rajiv? ( Kya tum mujhse pyaar karte ho)

So when do you know... it's love?

So when was the last time I walked out of a theater with a smile, well that happened when I watched Munnabhai. I'm a great fan of Abbas Tyrewala right from his pyaar main kabhi kabhi days. with his lyrics and then came Munnabhai for which he wrote dialogues. And from the day when I read the news bit that he was making a movie my wait started. And the wait was worth it.

Jaane tu, is one of those movies where you don't have to stress yourself to understand whats happening on the screen. You'll love all the characters, I should say casting was really good. No one over dos his/her job. And the songs, I liked couple of tracks in this movie. After watching the songs with the characters they tend to grow on you, and you'll find yourself humming the tune nearly everyone were humming "jaane tu... jaane tu ya jaane na..." in the interval.

An apt plot for the debut of Imraan Khan, and then apt platform for Genelia to leave her mark in this movie. I should mention about Genelia here, she overshadows all the characters and you don't notice that, she has been doing the same in telugu movies of late.

So what can you expect from Jaane tu... ya jaane na... ?, well, witty dialogues, laughable moments with Naseeruddin Shah, Paresh Rawal, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, if you passed out from college then you'll revive your college days.

So you say we'll have a smile on our face when we walk out of the theater after watching the movie....

U BET!!

taare zameen par (sneak preview)

After his powerful performance in "RDB", our DJ aka Aamir Khan is coming to us with "Taare Zameen Par". Taare Zameen Par is directed and produced my Aamir Khan himself. Music is composed by the trio Shankar-Ehsaan_Loy. And the lyrics by Prasoon Joshi, the one who penned songs for Rang De Basanthi. The movie's first trailer, a 2 minutes one, was released on Oct 12, 2007.

After the debacle of "Mangal Pandey", hopefully "taare zameen par" would make Aamir Khan a successful director, at least the trailer seems to be very promising. We'll know that on December 21, 2007 when it's released.

TA RA RUM PUM

Ta Ra Rum Pum is a movie which has - a happy family (with dog), a tragedy, the downfall and then back to success. One of the main reasons why TA RA RUM PUM works is because it's not about car racing only. It involves a couple, their two kids, the family's riches to rags story, their highs and lows…

An entertaining movie with some nice locations, rocking music, meaningful lyrics and decent acting from Saif & Rani. Saif doesn't quite reach the heights in terms of performances, but still he is looking good as family man.

TA RA RUM PUM tells the story of one man, his family and how they overcome the obstacles that life puts in their way, together.

Unlike Anand's first film Salaam Namaste which made you swing with the foot-tapping music, this film could have progressed even without its songs. The album has at least two sure shot hits in the form 'Ta Ra Rum Pum' and 'Hey Shona' and with good visuals to match, one can count 'Nachle Ve'.

And you'll find Indian flags in the final winning sequence...

Munna bhai chale amerika!

Third movie in the Munna-Circuit series has been announced. It’s called Munna bhai chale amerika. Script isn’t finalized yet but it’s evident from the title that Munna and Circuit will start on their journey to America and movie is expected to release in 2008 (2008 nahi....plz yaar rajkumar thoda jald karnaa, emergency hai... I can't wait for long.. [:( ]). And of course this one will be definitely worth waiting for.

And and guess what???? I saw the first promo of the latest part (gawd!!! the promo was damn hilarious one, I was laughing out loud in the theatre..) which was shot at Karjat, near Mumbai recently, in the interval break (went to watch Eklavya today). Since Munnabhai and Circuit are going to America, they have been shown as they started learning English.

And the shooting for the film will begin from October this year.

dhoom2...the bakwas sequel!

This movie is exclusively made for Hrithik Roshan. Hrithik Roshan the robber has used all possible gadgets in the movie. Hrithik Roshan can be seen in 15 different appearances in the movie. Hrithik Roshan playing a sporty guy in the movie and plays sports like Roller Bladding, Sky Diving, Sand Boarding etc. So a lion’s share of credit for this goes to Hrithik Roshan, without whom this movie would have been a soulless body. The movie truly belongs to him.

Coming to the hard facts, the movie actually according to me should have ended right after the intro of Hrithik, that's only opening scene which is watchable. Coming to Aish, how could she act so good in "Hum dil de chuke sanam", and when you watch her in this movie, you'll feel sorry for her. She can't act guys, she was so pathetic in this movie. She doesn't fit into the role properly, she acts like a novice. The film could have been made much shorter, but no bollywood principles doesn't allow that, you have to make a movie which runs for complete 3 hours.

Abhishek Bachchan looks rugged playing the no-nonsense cop but is never able to rise above Hrithik’s presence.

Bipasha Basu looks really hot.

On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai doesn’t look least bit sexy despite wearing a variety of skimpy dresses. The gorgeous actress is not able to carry herself comfortably in revealing outfits.

Uday Chopra is the only source of humour in this action-packed thriller. Although his comedy is generic, the flair and ease with which he does it makes his character very entertaining.

Rimi Sen has a brief and forgettable role of Jai’s pregnant, cribbing wife.

‘Dhoom 2’ isn’t void of faults, and some of them are so glaring to be overlooked. Bipasha’s character Shonali is inexplicably dropped at the interval point and another character, an identical twin called Monali, is introduced in Brazil. And both Shonali and Monali have little significance to the movie’s story.

Secondly, after a series of intelligently conceived robberies in the first half, the last robbery in the film turns out to be lacklustre and without any thrill.

Thirdly, Pritam’s recycled and rehashed compositions that only evoke yawns and encourage you to go out for some refreshments.

Fourthly, the romance between Hrithik and Ash lacks the real spark.

All said, this Dhoom turns out to be bigger, better and bombastic than its prequel.

Just go for HRITHIK!

DIWALI's special sweet....

Hi to all beautiful people out there. hope you guys are rocking in what ever things you people doing. Well just came back from theatre after seeing "DON". And I know you people will be anxious enough to know from hows the movie..???? Well yeah technically and graphically its too good to watch the movie...

Today morning I came back from office at 5:45am, and went straight on to my bed and crashed. At 10:00am my mobile buzzed restlessly, and then bike horns honking like anything. I got up to see who was so restless. Well my entire friends gang was waiting for me to come to theatre and stand in queue for tickets. They didn't give me a chance to brush my teeth or at least change my dress. I stood in queue with my paragan chappals and FM radio... we stood for an hour in the queue and by the time we got our chance counter got closed... well this was expected, anyways went back to parking lot and bought tickets in black for Rs 150 each from the gate keeper...

And few things which we'll observe from this movie is :

1. Helen can't be replaced.

2. Sharukh will be Sharukh.

3. Remade movies can't replace original ones.

Of the entire cast I loved Arjun Rampal's acting. We'll miss Big B in the track ( Khaike Paan Banaraswala..) and coming to the songs, except Kareena's song rest of them are all cool, even the background score is also cool.
Over all, the movie is really good and yeah with a little twist in it...you people will enjoy that little twist in the end of the movie...

And here's your Diwali Special Sweet...

HAPPY DIWALI MY DEAR FRIENDS, celebrate safely and soundly, have fun....

My 1sT TAg!!!!!!!!!!

BOLe tO..... bINDaas!

Before I complete the tag, lemme tell you guys hows lage raho MUNNA BHAI. At the end of the movie I realised that my cheeks are aching like anything, now I guess you people understood how the movie is.... yeah its toooo good. Wow! I was whistling, laughing louder, so louder that my beside audience were staring at ME!

Three cheers to Raj Kumar Hirani, who proves that the much hailed "MUNNA BHAI" was no fluke.

I just returned home directly from the theatre after the second show. The movie stood up to its expectations, especially "tension nay lenekha MAMU....apun hai naa!" genre which included comedy, crime and drama in M.B.B.S, has now changed to a rare genre "patriotic comedy film". Till now you people saw his DADAGIRI now you'll see his GANDHIGIRI.

Arshad warsi reproduces the witty CIRCUIT once more.

I recommend you guys to see this movie, this movie is not-to-miss kinda one. There is one particular hilarious scene which runs for 15mins I guess; this scene was so hilarious that me and friends were laughing and laughing and tears came out of our eyes; we were virtually rolling on the floor, you could say (I'm still laughing remembering that scene....) . The cast of the movie really did a splended job. Vidya Balan looked really cute in this movie.

There's something replacing the "jadoo ki Jhapii"............and if you wanna know whats that ???? And for the the first time ever, we learn to smile with GANDHI, laugh with him.

Time to practice 'GANDHIGIRI'. Time to watch 'LAge raho MUNNA bhaI'.

GANDHI: "Three bullets could kill me, but not my philosophy!" (Bande mein tha dum, Vande Mataram)
